The History of Mythos Corp

in EVE Online.

The detailed chronicle of our corporation journey

through New Eden's timeline.

The Genesis

March 11th, 2005

Mythos Corp was founded on March 11th, 2005, making it the oldest Greek corporation in EVE Online and one of the longest continuously active corporations in New Eden. At a time when the universe itself was still being defined, Mythos Corp was already laying foundations meant to last.

In those early, unforgiving years of EVE, a small group of Greek pilots came together with a shared vision: to live beyond empire space, to test themselves in the most dangerous regions of the game, and to build something that would outlive wars, alliances, and eras.

• Members: ~10 pilots

The early years

2005-2011

Mythos Corp’s formative years were spent under the banner of RAZOR Alliance, where the corporation cut its teeth in sustained, large-scale nullsec warfare. These years forged the core of Mythos’ culture: discipline under pressure, tight coordination, and a deeply ingrained understanding of nullsec life.

Living primarily in the Northern Regions, with Tenal as a long-term home, Mythos learned early that survival in 0.0 space was never guaranteed. Wars were constant and only corporations with strong internal organization endured. These years established the democratic governance and operational structure thatMythos still carries today.

The Hellenic project

2011-2012

The collapse of the old Northern Coalition triggered a period of instability across nullsec. Power vacuums formed rapidly, alliances rose and fell, and long-standing territorial control disappeared almost overnight. Amid this chaos, the Greek EVE community was at its peak, and discussions began around forming a unified Greek alliance.

That effort materialized through cooperation between several of the largest Greek corporations of the time. Mythos Corp, initially hesitant due to concerns over cohesion and leadership challenges inherent in nation-centric alliances, ultimately chose to support the common cause and joined HELL4S Alliance.

Unfortunately, the Hellenic project proved short-lived. After nearly a year, internal differences in mindset, leadership expectations, and long-term goals led to the alliance’s dissolution. While the outcome confirmed many early concerns, the experience reinforced Mythos’ belief that unity must be built on shared values rather than shared nationality alone.

Against All Authorities

2012-2013

Following the collapse of HELL4S alliance, Mythos sought a new home defined by resilience. Against All Authorities, an alliance known for fighting on regardless of odds, losses, or political pressure. This philosophy resonated strongly with Mythos’ own outlook.

For the first time in its history, Mythos left the familiar Northern Regions behind. Relocating south marked the largest geographic and logistical movement the corporation had undertaken to date. This transition tested adaptability at every level, but it also proved Mythos could operate effectively far from its traditional space and comfort zones.

Second to none

2013-2014

As part of Nulli Secunda, Mythos entered an era defined by mobility, strategic coordination, and coalition warfare. This period emphasized fast-paced campaigns, coordinated deployments, and operating as part of a broader strategic machine rather than holding permanent territory.

These months refined Mythos’ ability to integrate seamlessly into large alliance-level operations while maintaining internal cohesion. The corporation learned to thrive without fixed borders, reinforcing the idea that strength came from pilots and organization—not from systems on a map.

• Corporation Size: ~25 pilots
• Focus: Strategic Operations
• Major Campaigns: 5

The Unthinkables

2014

Mythos’ time with The Unthinkables represented a short but distinct chapter focused on adaptability and independent combat effectiveness. Alliance warfare during this period demanded initiative, flexibility, and the ability to fight without relying on overwhelming numbers.

This phase further shaped the corporation’s preference for pilots who could think for themselves, execute under pressure, and contribute meaningfully in smaller, highly coordinated engagements.

• Corporation Size: ~20 pilots
• Focus: Strategic Operations
• Major Campaigns: 5

Black Legion

2014-2015

Joining Black Legion marked a decisive shift toward elite, results-driven warfare. Operating in a mercenary-style environment, Mythos experienced a nomadic existence defined by contracts, deployments, and constant combat across multiple regions.

This period sharpened individual pilot skill and emphasized efficiency over permanence. It left a lasting influence on Mythos’ combat mindset—precise execution, personal accountability, and the expectation that every engagement mattered.

The Culture

2015-2017

Following the collapse of Black Legion, Mythos joined The-Culture, a newly formed alliance created by former Black Legion corporations. This marked a return to stability, allowing Mythos to consolidate its identity, rebuild assets, and refocus on long-term sustainability after years of near-constant upheaval.

Living in Fountain, as part of a smaller but self-sufficient group of competent pilots, Mythos strengthened its economic foundations and internal training pipelines. Newer pilots were integrated, corporate roaming became routine, and the corporation matured into a balanced entity capable of standing on its own.

• Rebuilding
• Corporation Size: ~30 pilots
• Focus: Corp roaming and small scale PvP
• Medium scale PvP engagements

Triumvirate

2017-2019

With Triumvirate, Mythos returned to relentless, high-intensity warfare. These were demanding years marked by frequent large-scale engagements, heavy logistical strain, and constant pressure from hostile forces. Losses were real, victories were hard-fought, and expectations were uncompromising.

Even as the alliance itself began to fracture under sustained pressure, Mythos remained. Staying until the end, fighting under siege conditions, the corporation once again demonstrated that its longevity was no accident—but the result of discipline, loyalty, and resilience.

Pandemic Legion and the modern era

2019-Present

Since October 2019, Mythos Corp has been a member of Pandemic Legion, one of New Eden’s most respected and demanding alliances. Operating at the highest levels of nullsec warfare, this era represents the culmination of everything learned since 2005.

Strategic patience, combat proficiency, and cultural resilience define Mythos in the modern era. From behind-enemy-lines operations to full-scale coalition warfare, the corporation continues to adapt—proving that while alliances may change, Mythos endures.
